Venus is loud this week, as she has been for a while. With a Venus Cazimi in Scorpio, the last of its kind in our lifetimes, AND a full moon in Taurus the planet of love, justice and money is showing us just how much of a warrior she is by having us all figure out what it means to go to war for ourselves. What is it you desire and what are you willing to do to go after it? Tension is here, as there always is when you are creating something new, in the form of a square with Pluto - your innermost wants may conflict with the groups you claim affinity to. Whose wants take precedent? The scales of justice have long tipped in the direction of authoritative power, and that power is showing itself to be crumbling. Times of destruction are also times of creation - do you have any taste? The Venus Cazimi right before the full moon is an ending and beginning. Strategies that relied upon someone else coming in to “save” us have been shown to be fiction. What are the new stories that must be told, resurrected, to create new archetypes of what and who heroes are. Venus is currently moving towards combustion before she gains a new light passing through the Sun back into Libra. We are being called to enact new ways and understanding of what it means to take power back via justice and money when you realize (and believe) the kind of power structures you really are dealing with. If we believe that the colonial project is a thief and a liar, then it’s time that Venus becomes a better thief than the one she has been dealing with. What are you stealing back? Venus is a warrior who is learning a different strategy because she believes. Do you? In the underworld she is stripped of the tools she once had, surrendering to the process of creation - death before rebirth.
