This month I am teaching two seminars through Big Liz Conjure. The first on the 16th is on the new moon in Aries and working with this fire energy!
The second is on the 22nd and is focused on working with your body as the first altar that we must tend to. As we will be just in Taurus season, the focus on our bodies and how we care/feed/nurture it and one another will be a loud theme so learning to listen and believe the body is important.
APRIL CALENDAR OF EVENTS
It is time to tell new stories so we can create the futures we say we want. So it is a time of the storytellers and story weavers to tell and weave new stories for our humanity.
To tell new stories we need to embody our humanity and believe the reality we are in so we can dream and create the societies that can actually hold and support life.
How do we learn to embody the knowledge we have learned?
What does it mean to strategically dream as a way to world-build the societies we say we want to live in?
Can we allow ourselves to play in the dreamscape(s) and bring those dreams into reality?
If we are our ancestors’ wildest dreams, how do we dream WITH them as a liberatory practice?
These are some of the questions I explore in my Patreon, the online arm of my Embodied Futures Lab, as a way to create a space for people to imagine our world differently and then dare to bring those imaginations into reality.

Welcome! I am Dr. Nicole Rawls. Organizational Death Doula, Cultural Strategist, Anthropologist, Astrologer, Storyweaver, Poet, and Artist.
My work is focused on exploring the question: What does it mean to be human outside the colonial project? I use my anthropological and spiritual training, along with my twenty years of experience to help individuals and organizations deconstruct from oppressive systems and dream and build the worlds we actually want to inhabit.
I am the founder of the Embodied Futures Institute and the creator of Embodied Strategic Dreaming. I am also currently completing my first book, Reclaiming My Wild: A Modern-Day Marronage Folktale.

Astro Forecast for April 5th-11th: Mars Moves into Aries - How matured is your head?
Aries, the head and start of the zodiac, is on full display this week as Mercury, Neptune, Mars, Saturn, Sun, Moon, AND Chiron are all there. Talk about a new beginning on the first new moon of the astrological new year. Ah, but what identity is leading in creating this new beginning? With Uranus chillin at 29 degrees of Taurus for a couple of weeks till they move into Gemini at the end of the month, we are also at a critical juncture in the story of change that continues to show us just how unstable all these structures of infrastructure are. Remember, the outer planets are still in a loose monitor grand trine reminding us we truly are just at the beginning - so how is your stamina? See, Venus is not sitting around in sweatpants eating candy as she makes her way further into her home sign of Taurus. She is truly feeling the weight of needing to get her hands in the dirt and figure out what sustainability really looks like as Mars, via fire, is being used to burn down the facade that we ever were free. If freedom is to reign, then who and what is ushering it in?
